In 2020, the year when Covid-19 showed up in our lives, the Tribeca Film Festival was canceled like much else that year, but reached a wide audience through virtual transmission. The Festival continued to provide not only entertainment but relevant insights into the events that confronted us.

On June 30, 2020, the Downtown Post NYC newsletter recorded the death of Milton Glaser under the title "Remembering a Kid from the Bronx Who Left His Imprint on New York City" and along with a link to a news article about his death, included a link to Downtown Post NYC's review of a film about him that had debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival.
